Confectionary Ghost Shell Ring Holder
This was a Christmas commission piece and my most fun Ghost shell to date. I loved figuring out the gingerbread texture and candies as I'd never made anything like it before.
The Finished Ghost Shell
(WIP) 3D printing the ghost base
(WIP) The ghost needs a texture to mimic the gingerbread as it's not fully smooth. I mixed a bit of paint into wood glue and dabbled it on to make an uneven surface look
(WIP) Painting the Ghost the correct color and working on the eyes
(WIP) Making the red candies for the ghost. I'm using some beads and filled one side of the hole with foam clay and glue
(WIP) Painting the candies red. The 2nd hole will be stuck into icing so I didn't need to fill the other side.

(WIP) The green candies. They are made from foam clay, coated in glue and bright green spray paint, followed by clear sealing spray. I cut tiny slivers of paper as sprinkles for on top of the candy
(WIP) Base Ghost is assembled. Time to decorate
(WIP) The 'icing' for the Ghost, made by mixing wood glue and white paint. I cut a tiny corner off a plastic bag to make a piping bag to decorate with
