Destiny Sparrow Automata

Automata are something I'd never made before but wanted to learn, so I made a basic one with a Destiny themed rider on top. Despite it's simple design it was difficult at times to make the pieces work together in a way that gave a smooth motion.

(WIP) Concept design. Spinning a handle on the outside rotates 2 ovals inside that are pointed in opposite directions, pushing 2 platforms up one at a time. This lifts up one side of the object on top to make it rock back and forth

(WIP) Rough test design. It works, but it's too light so the platforms don't come back down by themselves

(WIP) First wooden test working much better, I need to add pivot points behind the figure though to smooth the motion (and I need to clean my desk)

(WIP) Testing the rider on the new mechanics build. It works, but not smoothly. Going to make a few minor tweaks and remake the mechanism.
