Book of the Lost (Book Binding)
I'd never done bookbinding before but I've been wanting to learn how to do it and this was my first attempt. There are some areas I can definitely improve on with more practice so I want to create more custom books in the future. This one is based of the Destiny "The Book of the Lost"

The finished book
(WIP) My stacks of paper being pressed flat. Each 'section' is 8 A3 pages folded in half.
(WIP) Rigging the ropes to bind the spine (I only had plastic rope available which isn't ideal)
(WIP) The spine glued together and ropes attached
(WIP) Painting the decorative pieces (mix of 3D print and laser cut MDF)
(WIP) Painting the pleather I used purple.
