Mini Gambit Chest (Refurbish)
This project started when I found a small chest outside a 2nd hand store. Its lid was damaged so they couldn't sell it, but I loved its shape and wanted to fix it up. So, my first refurbishing project began. I decided to give it a Gambit theme as I love Destiny 2 and it had some ideas for the design already.

(WIP) Removed the covering which felt like a type of wallpaper or similar covered in glue.

(WIP) Patched up the holes now with builders bog
(WIP) Sanding down the box to smooth the filler and box surface
(WIP) After priming the chest I painted the whole piece a darker green as the base layer. I still need to paint the inside edges black.
(WIP) Started adding the design to the box
(WIP) Some of the stencils I made for painting the box. I lightly sponge the stencil to apply the paint in the gaps.
(WIP) Finished lid, I also painted some detailing on the side using different stencils
Sealed the paint and put the hinges back on to finish the box
I also lined the inside with some black felt to give it a clean finish.
