Flapping Lucent Moth
After finding a 2nd hand flapping butterfly in a store I wanted to try design my own. It has a different shape and different materials so I had to adjust the design to compensate for that but it ended up working out nicely.
The original flapping moth I found which was the inspiration for my lucent moth

(WIP) Making the body bigger to look more like the original Lucent Moth
(WIP) The new prototype. It only flaps a little bit after each push due to the added body weight so I added a pull string.
I also had to drill new holes in the wings to help balance the whole thing so I had to change the final hole position in my file.

(WIP) Made shiny versions of the wings and am tying them on with nylon thread
(WIP) Testing the hanging system
(WIP) Wing sparkle in the light, just needs antenna now
